Located in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, SOCO Construction managed Phase 3 of Rod N’ Reel Resort upgrades with work including new construction of a 4-story hotel and 3-story atrium building. It consists of 63 hotel rooms, two 3,000 sf banquet halls, a 2-story commercial kitchen, and atrium amenity space. Guests can enjoy refined accommodations and a mezzanine bar with artisan coffee and coastal views.
There are two elegant banquet halls, accommodating up to 500 guests for weddings and celebrations, complete with a rooftop deck overlooking the bay. The atrium connects the hotel and Rod ‘N’ Reel building, offering direct views of the beach and bay. A beach theme is found throughout the features, artwork, and hotel rooms with oceanic and warm sand colors to enhance the seaside environment for guests.
The building is resting on a precast pile foundation, CIP grade beams, pile caps and pedestal. This superstructure also consists of structural steel with precast plank.
