SOCO Construction is currently managing the renovations and revamp of Monmouth Mall, located in Eatontown, New Jersey, turning it into ‘Monmouth Square’. SOCO is coordinating operations with client activities related to the overall mall improvements. It includes but is not limited to utility re-routing and upgrades, along with sitework and site re-development. In addition, the project includes the construction of an open and walkable Paseo between buildings connecting retail, residential, and dining.
The redevelopment encompasses a multi-phased approach focused on enhancing guest amenities and site functionality. This includes extensive utility upgrades and site redevelopment. Existing anchor locations such as Macy’s and Boscov’s are also receiving refreshes—including updated entrances and facade enhancements. It will feature a variety of premier culinary and lifestyle brands, with confirmed tenants such as Whole Foods, CAVA, and Prince Street Pizza. Visitors can also expect high-end offerings from Arhaus, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, Felice, and Vuori as part of the site’s curated guest experience.
New tenant buildings are slab-on-grade, with a structural steel frame and roof deck. They also consist of a storefront, metal panels, brick, stucco, exterior sheathing, and awnings.
