As part of the Garden State Plaza Redevelopment located in Paramus, New Jersey, SOCO Construction is currently managing work on +/- 14 acres of land that also includes the construction of a new bridge. The bridge will connect a parking lot to the parking garage and will cross over a small stream.

Scope of work consists of the installment of all underground infrastructure, civil work, hardscape and landscape of green areas, electrical lighting, wayfinding, and security. Infrastructure work includes new drainage, sewer, electrical, water, gas, and low-voltage/fiber. Civil work includes roads, retaining walls, sediment basins, and the new bridge.

With the community in mind, this entire area will be transformed into a walkable town center to live, work, shop, and play. The overall aim is to reduce reliance on automobiles in the area, promote sustainable practices, minimize waste by incorporating renewable energy and natural materials, and increase access to public transportation, retail, and entertainment.
