Located in Trooper, Pennsylvania, SOCO Construction managed the ground-up build of a 5,000 sf Flagship Carwash. It consists of a receiving area with an ERV material lift, wash tunnel, restroom, office, and storage room, all on the first floor. The second floor consists of a break room, equipment room, and mechanical room.
Regarding the 2,600 sf wash tunnel, it consists of a conveyor belt, a photo-eye sensor (determines car size), nine brushes, and multiple washing sections. These sections include pre-soak, maximum steam, fusion wax, a hydrophobic sealant call Ceramic, final rinse, and spot-free section. The end consists of 15 dryers to prevent water spots and a tire wash station.
The overall site includes an underground detention basin between the vacuum stalls under the parking area, three underground reclaim tanks, and an underground oil-water separator. It also features 17 vacuum stanchions, two cashless pay stations lanes leading to the tunnel, an 8 ft vinyl fence, a painted CMU trash enclosure, and a hot meter pit.
