SOCO Construction, is currently managing the renovations and revamp of the Monmouth Mall located in Eatontown, New Jersey. This includes building various new tenant retail buildings and constructing a vast and open Paseo at the mall transient between retail and residential buildings. To carry out this project, the team must coordinate operations with client activities related to the overall mall improvements. It includes but is not limited to utility re-routing and upgrades, site work, and site re-development.
Work includes the demolition of an existing retail space and construction of a new Barnes & Noble. Additional construction consists of a new Whole Foods market and a renovation and re-demising of an existing Joe’s Crab shack. Additional retail tenant construction will be evaluated as tenants are signed to leases and final construction documents are received.
Remaining tenant anchor stores such as Macy’s will receive an entrance refresh and Boscov’s will receive a minor refresh with new metal panels, brick, black metal cladding, and storefront.
The new tenant buildings will be slab on grade, with a structural steel frame and roof deck. They will also have a storefront, metal panels, brick, stucco, exterior sheathing, and awnings.
