SOCO Construction Co. is currently managing the ground-up construction of a luxury 55 and older apartment building located in Nutely, New Jersey. It consists of cast-in-place concrete foundations with slab-on-grade, a cast-in-place podium deck, and wood framing from the first floor to the roof.
The ground floor includes 148 parking spaces, while the first floor features a fitness and wellness center, an entertainment room, and about 14,500 sf of courtyard space. Regarding the courtyard, it features resort-style amenities such as a pool, putting green area, firepits, grills, and seating areas. In addition, the remaining floors houses 85 apartment units divided between the first, second, and third floors that feature one and two-bedroom luxury units.
The development addresses a growing need for luxury housing among the maturing population in Essex County. As a result, it is strategically located near the Delawanna Train Station and major highways such as the Garden State Parkway, Route 3, and Route 21.
