SOCO Construction, managed the sitework and ground-up construction for the Glenwood Green shopping plaza at Old Bridge, New Jersey. This project is a 42-acre shopping plaza development that consisted of site clearing, installations of underground utilities and infrastructure, site lighting, retail pads, construction of five ground-up core and shell retail buildings, sidewalks, and paving. In addition, it also includes retaining walls, landscaping, and outdoor patios.
The building exteriors include EIFS, brick, cementitious siding, paint, pre-fabricated awnings, exterior lighting, and storefronts. Installations included new RTUs, drive-through lanes with drive-through windows, and customer pylon signs. Patios include amenities such as a Ping-Pong table, trellis swing, pergola sunshades, and outdoor seating and lighting.
In addition, the detention basin and infiltration basin were constructed for rainwater management. Approximately 50,000 cubic yards of soil were removed and placed around the site when constructing it.
