SOCO Construction, was the Owner’s Representative for Maxon Hyundai Group at the site located in Union, New Jersey. The project consisted of a ground-up build of a new Maxon Hyundai dealership, extensive renovations of the existing service department, and extensive site work for the addition of over 100 new parking spaces.
The new building consists of a sales floor, car display and viewing area, auto shop, offices, and a waiting area with televisions, seating, and refreshments. Service center renovations included installations of new car lifts, tile floors, paint, HVAC system, and extensive MEP upgrades. In addition, the parking lot site work consisted of paving, striping, and reworking the existing stormwater system.
