SOCO Construction is currently managing the construction of a new 15-story apartment building located in West New York, New Jersey. As the sister building to The Grand, this 156-unit building features one and two-bedroom units, a community room, gym, yoga studio, bike room, keyless fob entry, along with a combination of green roof and hardscape pavers to provide rooftop amenity space and a shade pergola.
Similar to The Grand, the project consists of Ecospan construction for floors 4-15 placed on a concrete cast-in-place structure on floors 1-3. Similarly, the exterior facade will feature a modern blend of brick and metal panels with uPVC windows providing high performance. Additionally, it will feature Juliet Balconies equipped with accent lighting and a large decorative steel slat wall that spans the first floor. The interior will be comprised of modern kitchens with tile, millwork finishes, and kitchen islands. It also includes a half basement and an underground stormwater storage basin that is remotely satellite-controlled.
